Non-Food Items & Warehouse
One of the main services Eurorelief provides refugees with is the distribution of non-food items (NFIs), such as clothing, hygiene products, diapers, cleaning supplies, heaters, blankets, fans and more. These items are essential for the refugees' well-being, as they often arrive in the camps with nothing but the clothes they are wearing. They need clean and warm clothes, shoes, blankets and other items to survive the harsh weather conditions, to maintain their hygiene and health, and to restore their dignity and self-respect.
Eurorelief receives some of these items from its partners, but it also relies on the generous donations of people like you to purchase what is missing or is in short supply. Eurorelief also operates its own warehouse, where it receives, sorts and packages the NFIs for distribution inside the camp. This ensures that the items are kept in good condition and delivered to the refugees orderly and efficiently. Your donations empower us to cover the costs of running the warehouse, transporting the NFIs and distributing them to the refugees who need them most.
By supporting our warehouse and NFI program, you are making a huge difference in the lives of thousands of refugees who have fled war, violence and persecution.
Included with the warehouse and NFI distribution is new arrivals and the free shops in camp where non-food items are distributed to camp residents.
Eurorelief seeks to raise 126,000 to cover costs and purchases for the warehouse and logistics on Lesvos and Samos. Eurorelief receives shipments of non-food items from other NGOs at their warehouse where the items are sorted and packaged into kits for distribution in camp. Eurorelief relies on financial donations to purchase items that are unavailable from its partners.
Eurorelief is supported through the charitable giving of individuals, businesses, churches and other charities.
Thank you for your kindness and generosity.
