Social Care
Imagine finally making it to Europe after going through incredible trauma, violence, and loss. You arrive in a place where you don’t know the language, the culture, or what to do next. How would you feel? Overwhelmed? Alone? Lost? Frightened? These are the feelings many camp residents experience when they get here. Not only are they struggling with physical needs, but also with emotional and mental needs. More than just food and shelter, they need care, compassion, and someone to support them.
Eurorelief’s social care team is here for them. Our trained volunteers, many with relevant experience or academic backgrounds, listen to residents’ stories, provide mental health support, and connect vulnerable people with professionals like doctors or legal advisors. They also regularly check in on the most at-risk individuals. This care helps residents find hope, dignity, and strength to begin healing from everything they’ve endured.
By supporting Eurorelief’s social care services, you’re making a real difference. You’re not just meeting basic needs—you’re helping people rebuild their lives. You’re reminding them that they’re not alone, that they matter, and that they have a future worth looking forward to.
Eurorelief is working to raise 13,200 euros to continue providing this much-needed support. The main costs include practical medical supplies such as wheelchairs, crutches and other specialist physical aids, and also office equipment and supplies.
We couldn’t do this without the generosity of individuals, businesses, churches, and other organizations. Thank you for caring, giving, and standing with these incredible people.
